21 Books for 2021

Here is my list of the 21 books I would like to read in the year 2021.

Demon Road by Derek Landy

I have been waiting until I finish my Skulduggery Pleasant readalong before I pick this series up.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

I have read the first two books in the series years ago and would like to restart the series and finish it this time.

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

I have heard a lot of good things about this series would love to read it and see what all the hype is about.

Scythe by Neal Shusterman

I had this on my 20 books to read for 2020 but I didn’t get around to reading it, so I have put it on this years list.

Northern Lights by Philip Pullman

I was given the series as a birthday gift and would like to prioritize it next year.

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

This is one of the oldest books I have had on the TBR and because of this, I think I should try and make an effort to read it next year.

Dread Nation by Justina Ireland

I have heard mixed things about this book and would like to read it and see where I sit on the fence with it.

House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

I am also caught up with the ACOTAR series and have been looking forward to reading this for a while now.

A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron

This has been on my TBR since the movie came out and I have never got around to reading it. I hope I get to this series next year.

The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang

I have heard a lot of things about this series, one of my friends raves about it and I would love to see what the hype is about.

The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson

I have been wanting to get into some of Sanderson’s work this year, and I think this series might be a good starting point. But I’m not sure.

Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

I love Illuminae and would love to pick this series up and see if I like Kaufman and Kristoff’s writing style together in the original format.

The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski

My friend has been saying I need to read this book for a while now and I am determined to read it in 2021.

Outwalkers by Fiona Shaw

I bought this near Christmas time last year and definitely meaning to pick it to put but never found the time to.

King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

I was meant to read this earlier in the year, but with my head problems and my procrastination of reading Crooked Kingdom I have never been able to.

Evermore by Alyson Noel

My friend gave this to me and I haven’t got to it, so I am making it happens in 2021 so I can talk to her about them.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Same reason as above

The Wind in the Willow by Kenneth Grahame

I remember picking this up and loving it years and years ago but never got to finish it and I don’t know why.

Legend by Marie Lu

I have heard a lot of things about this series and am curious about it.

The Devil’s Theif by Lisa Maxwell

I have been waiting until a bit closer to the release date of the 3rd book in the series before I read this book, so it is happening in 2021

Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin

I need to stop putting this series off and just start it.
