Here is a small list of 5 series I have completed this year. Three of the series I started this year and two I have finished this year.
The Strange Adventures by Alexandra Adornetto
Alexandra Adornetto is a fellow Australian. I bought the first two books in the Strange Adventures series a while ago, in a little book shop in a small town. I never got around to reading them until this year. I feel like I would have loved this series a lot more if I had read them when I first bought them.

Von Gobstopper’s Arcade -3 ⭐
My favourite book of the series was Von Gobstopper’s Arcade, there was this one character I loved in this book.
Cell 7 Trilogy by Kerry Drewery
This series caught my eye, the premise really intrigued me. I really enjoyed the characters, the plot, but it was the justice system and how corrupt it was that made this story memorable.

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
I had such a great time reading this series. It gave me a greater understanding of the grishaverse. I really enjoyed the characters, my feelings about the Darkling changed so often, he’s the type of character that you know you shouldn’t trust him, but you still like him.

Perfect by Helena Duggan
This was such a creepy series. I enjoyed the atmosphere and surprises. You never knew what was going to happen next.

The 100 by Kass Morgan
I started reading this series last year because I liked the Tv Show. Kass Morgan did a great job describing the new earth.

Shadow and Bone was definitely my favourite series out of the five. I really loved the world Bardugo created.
