Series I'm Up-to-date with, Finished or DNFed in 2020

As you might know by now, the majority of what I read are part of series, so I thought it would be cool to look at all the series I read in 2020. This is broken into two different posts and the next one will be next week. This post is for the series I am up to date with and still have books being published at some point, the series I finished and the series I have decided to DNF. Be warned I won’t be going into any detail about my thoughts as it would take forever to read, as there are so many of them.

BOOK SERIES I'M UP TO DATE WITH THAT HAVE NO KNOWN RELEASE DATE OF NEXT BOOK

The Legends on Eerie on Sea by Thomas Taylor

I feel in love with this series and can’t wait to read more.

Gale Harbour by C.D. Gallant-King

This book was very intriguing and engaging.

Spoiled Alicia by James Starvoice

The ending was a bit disappointing but loved this book and can’t wait to see where it goes.

BOOK SERIES I'M TO DATE WITH THAT HAVE A BOOK RELEASING IN 2021

ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas

Can’t wait for A Court of Silver Flames

Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco

The ending left me wanting more.

A Kingdom of Curses and Shadows by Day Leitao

I have an eARC for the second book so you will be seeing a review of it soon.

The Train to Impossible Places by P.G. Bell

I went into this series not expecting to come out with a new favourite character.

Girl of Hawthorn and Glass by Adan Jerreat-Poole

There were a lot of problems I had with the first book, but I would like to read the next book in the series to see if it was just because it was Poole’s debut novel.

Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy

Do I have to say anything at this point.

A Pinch of Magic by Michelle Harrison

Nice and easy reads with intriguing mystery elements.

Cassidy Blake by Victoria Schwab

I really would like to know what happens next.

Kingdom of Cards by Janella Angeles

I need to know what happens next.

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman

Heartwarming series.

The Chaos Cycle Duology by A.J. Vrana

This book was amazing, I can’t wait till the sequel and I will be rereading the first book before it’s release.

BOOK SERIES I'M TO DATE WITH BUT NOT SURE I WILL CONTINUE WITH THE SERIES WHEN NEXT BOOK IS RELEASED

I didn’t love the book I read from these series so there is a chance I will lose interest in the series before the next book is released.

Cursebreakers by Brigid Kemmerer

Bone Grace by Kathryn Purdie

The Legacy of the Mercenary King by Nick Martell

The Shadows of Fate by Crystal L. Kirkham

Ghost Machine Adventures by Vashti Hardy

Brightstorm by Vashti Hardy

SERIES I FINISHED

(Do not support J.K. Rowling)

Harry Potter & Hogwarts Library

Perfect by Helena Duggan

The Strangest Adventures by Alexandra Adornetto

The Book of Gabrielle by Michael Panckridge

Rondo by Emily Rodda

All theses series I enjoyed while I read them, but won’t be rereading them.

Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne

I love Winnie the Pooh so so much.

Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb

This is my favourite adult fantasy series.

Maybe by Colleen Hoover

The first book in the series was a good starting point to get me into romance novels, but I didn't enjoy the seconded book.

The 100 by Kass Morgan

This series was up and down for me, but what I really liked about the book series was that my favourite couple happened in the books but not the TV Show so I was able to read about them together in the books.

Cell 7 by Kerry Drewery

I enjoyed the series but started to feel a bit repetitive by the end.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

New favourite series and Kingdom of Ash is one of my favourite books ever.

The Shadow and Bone Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo

I really enjoyed this series and a great introduction to the Grishaverse.

Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

This was a let down for me but still enjoyed them.

Homefront: The Sheridans by Kate Aster

My favourite contemporary romance series.

Sky In The Deep by Adrienne Young

Loved the first book, but disliked the second.

SERIES I DNFED

The Maze Runner by James Dashner

I didn’t like the writing style, I decided to put down this series after I had finished the main three books.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I did finish the trilogy but will not be picking up the prequel.

The Matilda Saga by Jackie French

I don’t think I like French’s writing style.

Giant Days by John Allison

No thank you.

Paladin Romance by S.D. Rogue

I didn’t mind what I read but I have read romances I prefer more.

Boston Love by Julie Johnson

A Lion’s Pride by Eve Langlais

Again I have read romance authors I preferred so I won’t be returning to these series.

Dragonkeeper by Carole Wilkinson

I found the first book to be boring and I don’t really want to continue just to say I have read it.

Of Ether and Silver by Sarah Day

I didn’t enjoy the first book so I won’t be coming back to this series.

Blood Fae Chronicles by Jen Katemi

I had so many problems with the first book that I don’t want to continue with the series.

The Hanged God Trilogy by Thilde Kold Holdt

I DNFed the first book.

So that’s it for this section of the post. Hope you guys enjoyed it.
