The Reading Rush, was the first official readathon I participated in. I really loved the way it was set up, and how included I felt. So here is my TBR for this years Reading Rush. I trying to stick to my July theme of continuing series, but for a few of theses books, they are for book clubs I’m apart of and need to read before the end of the month.

My birth month is August which is Peridot. The book I chose is Darkwhispers by Vashti Hardy. The second book in the Brightstorm Adventure.
Read a book that starts with the word “The”
There were so many books I want to read that starts with ‘The’ but with my July theme, I chose The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black. I read The Wicked King earlier this month and would love to see how the trilogy ends.
Read a book that inspired a movie you’ve already seen.
This prompt was very hard to choose, I couldn’t find a book that was in a series that I had already started, so I chose City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I have not watched the movie adaptation but I have watched the TV Show.
Read the first book you touch.
I am reading Seasons of War by Derek Landy, I am finally getting to this book, so then I can start the series again for my readalong.
Read a book completely outside of your house.
It’s winter here in Australia so I’m not sure how much I can read outside, so I choose a book that is set all outside. That is Silver Brumby’s Daughter by Elyne Mitchell.
Read a book in a genre that you’ve always wanted to read more of.
This was hard because there isn’t any genre I want to read more of. But I chose a book that wasn’t fantasy which is the main genre I read. The Explorer by Katherine Rundell
Read a book that takes place on a different continent than where you live.
This was easy, because of where I live. The book I will be reading for this prompt is Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody
