Spoiled Alicia by James Starvoice || Review

I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author via Voracious Readers, this doesn’t affect my opinion of the book, all my thoughts are my own and honest.

Alicia’s heart is certainly in the right place. Everything else, however, is not!

While her father is away on business, Alicia is opened to the world and things did not go to plan. She decides to reshape it to how Alicia thinks the world should be.

This is about a young princess who decides to go down to the town to see how her people are and it snowballs from there.

This book didn’t have too much of a plot, but it was very character-driven, and I didn’t mind.

I really liked all the characters, especially when they all interacted with each other. Alicia was my favourite, she was cute and hilarious. She was definitely spoilt, but I did not think for a second that she knew she was being spoilt. She has never left her castle, had maids for everything. Overall had a very very sheltered life, and this behaviour was the norm for her. I also felt very sorry for her, to be brought up like that.

I really enjoyed the writing, it flowed very well and kept me engaged. I found it a very lighthearted read and hilarious, I really loved the humour.

The ending let it this book down for me, but I would definitely recommend picking it up especially if you want a laugh.

Thank you James Starvoice for the chance to review this book.
